PRINCIPLES

Honesty is the product.

Genie lives in a category famous for hype, so every claim on this site comes with the way you’ll be able to check it. Five commitments, each auditable — and a short list of things we will never do.

Genie is in development and reservations are not yet open.

WHAT WE HOLD OURSELVES TO

  • Consume-only, enforced in hardware.

Genie never sends power to the grid and never draws from it. That isn't a configuration or a promise in a manual — the machine is built so it physically behaves this way, with your home served first, always.

HOW YOU CHECK USGenie's energy behavior is logged and auditable. You will be able to see, not just believe, that it only ever touched the surplus.

  • Paid on sold work, nothing else.

We will never promise yields, returns, or 'passive income.' Your Genie earns when — and only when — the computing it performs is actually sold to a paying customer. Quiet demand means quiet earnings, and we will say so instead of smoothing it over.

HOW YOU CHECK USBefore anyone pays full price we publish measured results from real homes — including the disappointing ones — and the app shows every owner what ran, what sold, and what is owed.

  • Demand before supply.

We only ship machines where real buyers exist to keep them busy. Building supply first and hoping demand shows up is how this category earned its reputation; we're doing it in the other order.

HOW YOU CHECK USIf demand is thin, we pause shipping and say so publicly — on this site, in plain language, not in a footnote.

  • Your home stays yours.

Genie reports its own energy use and health, and nothing else. It does not watch your network, your devices, or you. It makes only outbound connections and never accepts incoming ones.

HOW YOU CHECK USThe privacy policy on this site says exactly what is collected — today, that is nothing — and will be updated before anything changes.

  • Dollars, not tokens.

There is no coin, no speculation, and no whitepaper. Customers pay in currency; so do we. If the pitch needs an exchange rate to make sense, it isn't this one.

HOW YOU CHECK USEvery earnings statement is denominated in dollars, tied to a named unit of sold work in your app.

WHAT WE WILL NEVER DO

  • Sell you a projection. Estimates without measurements are marketing, and we don't publish them.

  • Promise a date. Not for shipping, and not for reservations opening. When something is real, you'll see it here.

  • Tease a price. The price appears once, when it is final — and reservation holders decide first.

  • Take money while reservations are closed. Today this site takes none, mounts no checkout, and links to no payment surface.

  • Bury a change. If the terms of a reservation ever change materially, holders keep the right to an immediate full refund.

Reservations are not yet open.

When they open, these principles will be the terms — written into the reservation, not just this page.
