Is Genie cryptocurrency?
No. There are no tokens, no coins, and no mining. Genie performs ordinary batch computing for businesses that pay in currency, and the household is paid in currency when the work sells.

A quiet day is a day when a Genie did little, because there was little surplus, little demand, or both. The app shows it as a quiet day, with small figures, and nothing is owed.

A sealed job is a unit of computing work that arrives at a Genie encrypted, runs without Genie or the household being able to read it, and leaves encrypted. The customer can verify what ran.

Solar surplus is the power a home's panels make that the home is not using at that moment. It is the only power Genie ever draws on.

Before the first Genie ships, Element 31 will publish the full specifications, the hosting terms, and measured results from real homes, including the low ones. Nothing is announced before it is final.
