THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY
On a clear day a solar home can make more power than it is using. That extra — not the grid, and not the power the home still needs — is the whole fuel Genie is being designed around. The moment the home wants that power back, Genie is being designed to step aside, in the machine itself.
Surplus put to work. The home served first. No path that pulls from the grid or sends power back to it.
WORK THAT CAN WAIT
Genie is being designed to take work that does not need an answer in the moment. Jobs would arrive sealed, run sealed, and leave sealed, and only while the home has power to spare. When the day is dark, the machine waits, and the wait is visible.

WHEN WORK SELLS
The arrangement being designed is narrow on purpose. A household is paid when the computing that ran is sold to a paying customer, and not otherwise. There is no yield on this page, because none has been measured, and none will be promised ahead of that measurement.

THE HOUSE
Genie is being designed to live indoors, like any other quiet appliance, and to report its own energy use and health. It is not being designed to watch the network, the devices, or the people who live there.
A machine you can explain to the household. A boundary that stops at the appliance.
FOR THE WORK
The same design has a reader on the other side: a business whose computing can wait. That capacity is being built to say where it comes from and to leave a record of what ran. Nothing here is a performance claim.
